Our Music Minister Adrianna Barnett is a recent graduate of Westminster Choir College receiving her B.M. in Music Education. She is now a current student at Temple University, earning her Master's degree in Choral Conducting. Adrianna's musical experience is heavily based in solo and choral singing, piano, and organ, and uses these skills to select and run service music and direct both the choir and the handbell choir. Adrianna believes in creating a worship environment that eases the congregation into spiritual experiences and revelations of diverse meanings and origins. Musical experiences have the power to connect individuals regardless of their background or beliefs. She has led the music program and service music of Christ Congregation since June of 2023 and looks forward to participating in the church's continual growth. In addition to her work at Christ Congregation, Adrianna enjoys teaching students, reading, rock climbing, and finding unique restaurants. |
About our Choirs:
Christ Congregation is blessed to have both an active choir and a handbell choir. These choirs are entirely composed of hard-working volunteers from the congregation and are open to all who are interested in praise and worship regardless of their experience. These choirs rehearse and perform from September to May each year. Choir rehearsals are held in the sanctuary on Thursdays at 6 pm, and the Handbell choir rehearses directly afterward at 7 pm adjacent to the bible study room.
